Welcome to Rainy Day Forge, located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, where we create beautiful, handcrafted knives for knife enthusiasts and collectors alike. We have some exciting updates to share with you about our latest projects and products.
Firstly, we want to address an issue we encountered with our Friction Folder for Brad, who is the owner of Black Maple Blades. Unfortunately, we had some problems with the damascus on that knife. However, we have learned from our mistakes and have restarted the project. We are now proud to present a new and improved version of the knife, with a more dynamic damascus pattern that we are confident you'll love.
We've also recently updated our website with photos of two of our newest knives, the Sakitawa Rapids Santoku and Bird River Nakiri. These are both high-quality, beautiful knives that showcase our attention to detail and craftsmanship.
We're currently working on updating our Wilderness Edge collection of knives, and we're happy to report that they're looking better than ever. We're committed to creating knives that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also durable and practical.
To ensure the best quality, we're also experimenting with ways to improve our knife handles. One method we're using is stabilizing maple, which we believe will result in a more consistent and high-quality finish.
In addition to our traditional knives, we're also considering selling some simpler and more affordable products on Etsy. We'll keep you updated on any new developments in this area.
Thank you for your interest in Rainy Day Forge and our handcrafted knives. We're passionate about what we do, and we hope it shows in our work. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to reach out to us.
