Japanese Paring Knife
Japanese Paring Knife
Hot-stamped with the Rainy Day Forge Logo.
Materials
The blade is made from W2 tool steel to allow the development a hamon and the handle is 2-toned Pau Ferro with a single black micarta pin. The bolster is composed of black micarta and copper.
Design
This Japanese paring knife is inspired by the sleek Japanese aesthetic. But the handle was made with enough girth to fill the palm of the hand and may be thick for most users. Small-handed people, be warned!
Paring knives are made for peeling fruit and vegetables, mincing and general use.
If you need a small knife, this might be the one for you.
Tech Specs:

- Blade Length: 4"
Burns, Blades & Banter
This paring knife has a distinct hamon line that is formed by adding clay to the spine of the knife before hardening. It is then hand sanded to 1200 grit, buffed and etched to reveal the hamon pattern.
